Senior Project manager -
Server infrastructure

A. Project / Customer environment

> Well known international company with worldwide presence is preparing new infrastructure migration project where are required following competencies and knowledge linked to below mentioned areas.

> The aim of the sub-project is to refresh physical/virtual Windows servers ('000) running in Company environment to higher operating system, following Support Roadmap. Sub-project covers commissioning and decommissioning of servers, supporting Service Owners, reporting on progress, risks and proposing next steps. Change of service delivery model isn't in sub-project scope. 

> Part of sub-project is also upgrade of MS SQL (as a part of new server build). The rest might be applicable depending on particular service, however application (non DB) upgrade will be responsibility of particular application support. There would be project dependency.

> Sub-project doesn't include migration of HW infrastructure.  

B. Responsibility

Overall:

> Takes full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained.

Responsibilities:

> Manages a large and/or complex project with high visibility (multi area or product) at all stages (initiation, execution, closure) and in all PM areas (time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk, human resources, procurement). Ensures that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget, quality and resource requirements using excellent communication skills.
> Manages the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability and delivery of regional large/complex projects (multi area or product) to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements.

Leadership:

> To lead larger project teams and project-managers of sub-projects

Business operations:

> Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders.

C. Skills, experiences & competencies

Requirements:

> Proficient project management experience
> Proven ability to lead and manage a specialist-based, high-performing and multicultural team
> Proficient customer relationship and negotiation skills, in order to define project scope, time and quality requirements Strongly demonstrated leadership in project process and planning activities; strategic approach
> Proficient experience in preparation of project plans with appropriate budget and resource requirements
> Results-oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on excellence and high quality project delivery
> Proficient experience in stakeholder and communication management
> Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience
> Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Visio. MS Access and MS SQL a plus, but not required. Prior knowledge of Change Management RFC process a plus, but not necessary.
> Prior experience in Infrastructure Projects is required

> PM Certification (Prince 2, PMP) a must
> Process Improvement (Lean, Six-Sigma) experience is a plus
> MSP (Management of Successful Programs) certification a plus
> ITIL Foundation / Certification knowledge a plus
> English language on fluent level

D. Location

> Prague (Czech republic)

E. Presence

> Min. 60% onsite (customer offices)

> Travel: not expected

F. Utilization

> Full time (working hours) during project phases - min.10 months

G. Notes

> Applicants must be eligible to work in the EU
