International Engineering Fair (IEF) is the most important industrial fair in Central Europe with an annual attendance of over 1,600 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors.

The main theme of IEF is industrial automation, presentation of measuring, control, automation and control technology covering all the fields of the trade fair. In the field of electronics, automation and measuring technology is the IEF's third-largest specialized fair in Europe, after machining technology and materials and components in mechanical engineering.

IEF has traditionally been given high media attention, accredited by over four hundred journalists. Part of the fair is a cutting-edge accompanying program of expert conferences, seminars and workshops on current technical, business and economic themes.
